The Hydrogen Generator produces pure hydrogen (and oxygen as a by-product) through the electrolysis of water. The heart of the generator consists of an electrochemical cell that contains a solid polymer electrolyte. No free acids or alkalines are used. Deionized water or pure distilled water are the only liquid substances that can be put in contact with the cell. The water used by the system must be replenished as it is consumed.
